Choosing the right Driving Instructor can be a bit of a minefield and I wanted to use this space to tell you a little about me and what I can offer you that might be different and why learning with me could be the right choice for you or your loved one.

I have been a professional driver for over 25 years, mostly long distance covering thousands of miles both in the UK and abroad. And in that time I've seen some brilliant examples of driving and unfortunately, some bad ones too.

In 2016, I decided that I wanted to help make driving 'better' and our roads a little 'safer' and, in 2017 I qualified as Driving Instructor (ADI).

Qualifying as a driving instructor was just the start of my journey and I've taken a great deal of extra training since then to improve my skills and the skills I can pass on. In 2019 I complete the most in depth of these courses so far, the Tri-Coaching Partnerships BTEC LEVEL 4 Award in Coaching for Driver Development which is one of the few continual professional development courses recognised and accredited by the DVSA. This year long course helped me develop the tools and techniques I need to help in a way that suits you best, your way.

I have also been a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist since 2013 which leaves me well placed to offer that extra help to people suffering with nerves, anxiety or a little stress about driving!

​I pride myself on having the most up to date training available and in 2021 I decided to become one of only 50 registered trainers within the U.K for the Tri-Coaching Partnership delivering professional development to and training to other driving instructors on a national level.   

in early 2023 I decided to stop being Tri-Coaching Trainer to focus on my own Instructor Training & Development courses and created two bespoke, client centred training packages for both driving instructor training and qualified driving instructor standards checks. 

Driver & Instructor Training is just one of my roles. I also deliver National Speed Awareness and National Motorway Awareness Courses on a national level on behalf of Safer Essex Roads Partnership and Sussex Safer Roads Partnership.
